Dr. Thong Khon and Mr Vath Chamroeun were re-elected respectively President and Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia. 07 August 2009 Chad Re-election of the NOC Président and Secretary General The Elective General Assembly of the Olympic and Sports Committee of Chad held on 7 August 2009 re-elected NOC President Mr Moussa Aggrey and NOC Secretary General, General Idriss Dokony Adiker for the quadrennium 2009-2012. 30 July 2009 Sri Lanka NOC President re-elected; election of a new Secretary General The Annual General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka held on 30 July 2009 re-elected Mr Hemasiri Fernando as President of the NOC and elected Mr Maxwell de Silva as Secretary General, both for a four-year period. 27 July 2009 Egypt New NOC President and Secretary General elected The Elective General Assembly of the Egyptian Olympic Committee held on 27 July 2009 elected a new President of the NOC, General Mahmoud Ahmed Ali, as well as a new Secretary General, Mr Al Moataz Biallah Yousaif Sonbol. 7 July 2009 Jordan Appointment of the Secretary General of the NOC Ms Lana Al-Jaghbeer has been appointed Secretary General of the NOC. 6-7 July 2009 ANOCA President re-elected and a new Secretary General elected The ANOCA Elective General Assembly held in Abuja, Nigeria on 6-7 July 2009 re-elected Intendent-General Lassana Palenfo (Côte d'Ivoire) for a new four-year mandate (2009-2012) as President of ANOCA, and elected Counselor Khaled Zein El-Din (Egypt) as the new Secretary General. The Treasurer General is Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel (Nigeria). During the sessions of this 13th General Assembly, IOC President Dr. Jacques Rogge pointed out that the African Sports Movement has become a strategic partner of the International Olympic Committee and other bodies of the Olympic Movement. President Palenfo underlined in ANOCA's news bulletin of July 2009 that "sportmen and sportswomen and our partners are commiting us to work harder for the development of the African Olympic and Sports movement. We should stand together to make the 2009-2012 Olympiad an utterly successful organisation of the All Africa Games and a more glowing participation of African athletes in the Summer Olympic Games in London. Furthermore, ANOCA shall during this Olympiad celebrate its 30th anniversary, launch the African Youth Games and pursue the implementation of the resolutions of the Tunis Forum on Sport and Olympism. Leo Wallner was re-elected as President. 24 February 2009 Serbia Election of a new President of the NOC The General Assembly of the Olympic Committee of Serbia held on 24 February 2009, attended by 82 out of the 83 members of the Assembly, elected Vlade Divac, a renowned Basketball player, as President of the NOC.
