Rashid and Filbert Bayi were re-elected respectively President and Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of Tanzania. 12 December 2006 - Slovenia Janez Kocijancic was re-elected President and Tone Jagodic was confirmed as Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia. 23 November 2006 - Ukraine Sergey Bubka and Volodymyr Geraschenko were re-elected respectively President and Secretary General of the NOC of Ukraine. 18 October 2006 - Cambodia Dr. Thong Khon was elected President of the NOC of Cambodia and Meas Sarin was re-elected Secretary General. 16 September 2006 – Cape Verde Franklin da Palma Rocha Semedo was elected President of the Olympic Committee of Cape Verde and Felisberto Henrique Carvalho Cardoso was reelected Secretary General. May 2006 – Germany Thomas Bach, IOC Member in Germany, is the President of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), resulting from the merger of the NOC and the German Sports Union (DSB). The prior President of the NOC, Klaus Steinbach, is among the DOSB officials, and Bernard Schwank is continuing for the moment as Secretary General. 22 April 2006 - Senegal Mamadou Diagna Ndiaye and Santi Sène Hagne were elected respectively President and Secretary General of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Senegal. 21 March 2006 - Hong-Kong, China Timothy Tsun Ting Fok and Chung Pang were re-elected respectively President and Secretary General of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China. 7 March 2006 – Serbia and Montenegro Ivan Curkovic was elected President of the Olympic Committee of Serbia and Montenegro.
